Bolton are on the trail of former Liverpool and Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse according to reports.
The 29-year old Frenchman is set to depart Greek club Panathinaikos with strong rumours that he is set to sign with Italian outfit Lazio for around £5.5million.
But more recent reports suggest that the Trotters are keen to hijack the deal, especially after Cisse expressed his desire to return to the English Premier League.
