Bolton plan bid for Fulham striker Zamora

Bolton Wanderers are eyeing Fulham striker Bobby Zamora.

The Sunday Mirror says Bolton will use the £8million they receive from Chelsea for defender Gary Cahill to make a bid for Fulham striker Zamora.

Owen Coyle has earmarked the troubled striker, who has fallen out with Fulham boss Martin Jol, as his top transfer target for January.

Zamora, 31, has stopped short of handing in a written transfer request, but has told Fulham that he wants to leave if an acceptable bid comes into for him.
