Bolton Wanderers are willing to discuss a player swap with West Brom over their interest in defender Abdoulaye Meite.

"They made a bid and we didn't accept it, but Phil (Gartside, Bolton chairman) got in contact and asked whether we could do a straight swap," Megson told the Bolton News.

"The offer is with them now, so that is where we are with it."

Reports have linked both full-back Paul Robinson and midfielder Jonathan Greening with moves to Bolton in exchange for Meite.
