Bolton Wanderers are chasing Chelsea striker Danny Sturridge.
The People says Trotters boss Owen Coyle wants to sign Sturridge - the youngster who was offered to Liverpool as part of the deal to prise Fernando Torres away from Anfield.
Coyle has made an inquiry to take Sturridge for the rest of the season after the double winners agreed he could go out on loan.
The Wanderers chief was tipped off that Sturridge could be available after Chelsea tried to include him in any Torres move.
