Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba hopes to play his way into England's Euro2012 qualifying squad this season.
Muamba believes he is one of those players who can force his way into Fabio Capello's plans - but only if he performs for Wanderers.
"For me and all the young players it is a really exciting time," the England Under-21 star told the Bolton News.
"I was thinking it would be two years after the World Cup that I would have any chance with England.
"Now there looks like there is a chance for us younger players to get into the squad."
