Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba admits he enjoys playing for England U21 coach Stuart Pearce.
Muamba was part of the England Under-21 side that qualified for next summer's European Championship finals earlier this week, with a 0-0 draw in Romania completing a 2-1 aggregate win.
He said: "Stuart Pearce is a good guy and a good manager, and I hope he will go on to manage the senior team.
"He's done a really good job for the Under-21s. He's been a good role model for us. He's very open and always available to speak to the players. If he got the job it would be great for him."
