Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stuart Holden knows all about Manchester City hard man Nigel de Jong.
Bolton's USA international had his leg broken by De Jong last season.
But the 25-year-old has bounced back and stats show he has won most tackles in the Premier League this season.
Dutch star De Jong is in more strife over the challenge that broke the leg of Newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa two weeks ago.
And Holden admitted: "I don't hold a grudge but de Jong has been reprimanded for the tackles he has made and whether he changes his game we'll see.
"But he is not a player I admire as a tackler.
"Players like Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard are great two-way players who can still throw in a tackle.
"This is an area of my game I have improved.
"The only red card I've had was for dissent and I've not been booked that many times."
