Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson has made an improved offer of £750,000 for West Brom defender Paul Robinson.

Megson is determined to land full-back Robinson and has increased his original bid by £250,000, says the Daily Express.

Robinson, 30, is desperate to quit West Brom but Albion officials are ready to play hardball with their former manager Megson, who left them in 2004.
