Bolton Wanderers face being without Zat Knight for six weeks.
The Mirror says Knight is facing a six-week lay-off with a knee injury - but will avoid an operation that would have ended his season.
The giant centre half has strained medial ligaments and Wanderers expect to be without him until April - ending Knight's 100 per cent appearance record in Premier League games under Owen Coyle.
Knight did the damage in a last-ditch tackle on Everton's Victor Anichebe but the problem does not need surgery, so he will be able to return for the final push in Coyle's campaign.
