Bolton Wanderers legend Andy Walker says it's time Johan Elmander came good.
"Elmander's under pressure and it's a big season for him," Walker told the Bolton News. "It's not his fault the type of fee the club paid for him but when you sign someone for that much money you expect a return of 15-20 goals.
"He needs to get that first goal. The last thing he needs is to go a couple months without a goal and the manager has to start looking elsewhere.
"Elmander looks one of those type of players who thrives on confidence and, when he is confident, then he scores goals.
"Having a nice touch, working hard and bringing other players in is okay, but he should be doing a lot more, no matter what anybody says. He needs to improve and justify his big price tag.
"It's not enough to have a good touch and work hard - he has to score goals.
"I think he can do it, but I want to see more."
