Bolton Wanderers have pulled back from talks for Everton contract rebel Dan Gosling.
The Bolton News says Gosling, rated at £4million, is set to walkout of Everton for nothing after a contract mix-up at Goodison Park sparked a scramble for his signature.
And while Wanderers registered their interest alongside Blackburn, Fulham, Stoke, Sunderland and West Ham, it is understood they coolled on the deal yesterday afternoon.
The Whites have already snapped up Martin Petrov from Manchester City and Robbie Blake from Burnley on free transfers - but their interest in Gosling only became public at the weekend when the midfielder's exit on Merseyside was all-but confirmed.
