Bolton manager Neil Lennon is determined to secure the services of Emile Heskey and Eidur Gudjohnsen this summer.

Former Liverpool forward Heskey, 37, and ex-Chelsea striker Gudjohnsen, 36, joined the Trotters in December on short-term deals but it is believed that Lennon wants to offer them more permanent contracts.

Heskey has netted one goal in 14 Championship outings while Gudjohnsen has five goals in 19 appearances helping Wanderers move clear of the tier two relegation zone.
