Bolton Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman is keen to hold onto Alan Hutton.
The Scotland fullback is on-loan from Aston Villa.
Freedman said: "We're trying to extend the loan of Alan Hutton and are currently negotiating with Aston Villa."
