Bolton Wanderers fullback Paul Robinson was impressed by Jack Wilshere's debut in their defeat to Manchester City.
Robinson shared the left wing with Wilshere, on-loan from Arsenal, for the first time in the 2-0 defeat against City, and was impressed by the maturity shown by the teenager.
"For a young lad he shows an older head on him," he told the Lancashire Telegraph. "Sometimes when you say stuff he automatically clicks into the position he should be, and other times you don't have to say a word.
"He's a top professional for his age, and you don't see a lot of young lads with that nowadays. Hopefully we can give him more game time, and if he can continue to put in performances like that then it augurs well for him."
