Bolton fullback Robinson: Chelsea have lost their aura

Bolton Wanderers fullback Paul Robinson admits fallen champs Chelsea have lost their fear factor.

Robinson admits to having been overawed by the champions on previous occasions but believes that their recent struggles have shattered their confidence.

"Maybe the pressure has made them lose a bit of that aura," he said. "Maybe they have begun to doubt themselves as players and doubt that they can win the title this year," said Robinson.

"When you read players say they can't win the title, maybe in themselves they believe they are not as good as they were.

"It's not the same team that won the title - everybody knows it's just not going for them. Whatever is going on, it's a very difficult time for them.

"They used to win games before the kick-off. It's their aura and the players they have. When you looked at the players in the tunnel you could see the aura they had and the arrogance - in a nice way, not overconfident.

"I know some of the players there and they are not arrogant, but they believe they can go into every game and win. When you see 11 of them there, you start shaking a bit.

"I don't at all remember there being frailties there in the past.

"Tonight though, we know it's going to be a tough game but we have to take advantage of some of the frailties they are going through and hopefully come out with the right result."
