Bolton Wanderers fullback Paul Robinson is backing Gary Cahill for England's World Cup squad.

Cahill has been back to his best in recent games.

"Gaz is a top, top player and fingers crossed if he keeps going the way he is, he will have a chance of getting on that plane to South Africa," Robinson said.

"I train with him day-in, day-out and he's a great professional. He has got great ability and hopefully he gets that chance to do well at the World Cup."
