Bolton facing Chelsea, Man Utd in final two games of season

Bolton Wanderers fear their relegation battle could be influenced by an end-of-season fixture pile-up.

Gary Megson's men now fear the only date when they can fit in the re-arranged derby visit to Manchester United will be in the final week of the season.

That means Wanderers last two matches could now be United away and Chelsea at home.

Bolton's UEFA Cup run has caused the clash. They had pencilled in a spare midweek in March for the Old Trafford visit, but now they have home and away games with Sporting Lisbon.

And Sir Alex Ferguson's diary is full after that until the final midweek.

A Bolton source told the Mirror: "It's really not the best way to finish the season."
