Bolton Wanderers are among clubs keen on Blackburn Rovers defender Aaron Mokoena.

Rovers have received no official inquiries about the South African midfielder but the Lancashire Telegraph says Bolton are just one of several Premier League outfits monitoring the situation.

Mokoena has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Ewood since his arrival in 2005 and a desire for first-team football could pave the way for his exit.

Rovers could be tempted to part with the South African skipper at the right price once the January transfer window re-opens, knowing he can leave for free this summer.
