Bolton boss Owen Coyle is willing to extend Benfica youngster Rodrigo's loan spell at the Reebok Stadium but is reluctant to pay the £4m transfer fee being asked by the Portuguese side. The 20-year-old winger has impressed for the Trotters since arriving on a season-long loan last August.
However, Coyle is hopeful of bringing the Brazilian-born Spanish youth international to the Lancashire club for another temporary stint.
"It's a due process and we'll go through it," Coyle told the Bolton News.
"We like Rodrigo and if we were able to entice him back, then he will be better served by the experiences he's had."
