Wigan Athletic are still haggling over a deal for Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi.
The Sunday Mirror says Wigan must up their offer to £5million if they are to land Al-Habsi.
The Omani star spent last season on loan at the DW Stadium and was a major factor in the Latics beating the drop.
His fine form prompted Wigan to table a £3m bid.
But Bolton chief Owen Coyle wants nearly double that before he will let the 29-year-old quit the Reebok.
