Bolton Wanderers defender Gretar Steinsson admits Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero lost the plot the last time he was at the Reebok.
Wanderers' Icelandic defender Steinsson had just joined the club and saw the UEFA Cup drama unfold from the bench.
He feels Aguero allowed himself to be wound up by a team then managed by Gary Megson before, literally, giving Matt Taylor a mouthful.
Now Steinsson claims the £35million ace's temperament will be given another stern test when he returns to the scene of his crime tomorrow.
Steinsson, 29, said: "I was cup-tied that night but was here watching and remember it. Straight away, you see what a talent Aguero is.
"There was a lot at stake in that game and there had been some aggravation going around. But that's normal.
"One of our players may have aggravated him a bit and maybe he didn't take too kindly to it. He was sent off.
"But as with other players who have lost the plot against us, we don't try to get players sent off or aggravate them.
"We just play tough and match up teams. That's how we try to get results. If he loses the plot again, then so be it. But if you get a red card, you learn a lesson.
"No player decides before a game that they'll lose the plot. It's just that we are passionate players. There is a lot at stake in these matches.
"I would think there was something wrong with a player if he didn't lose the plot once or twice in a long career. It's healthy to lose it a couple of times."
