Bolton Wanderers defender Danny Shittu hopes to put himself in the shop window at the World Cup.

The Nigeria international is in talks about a move to Turkey this summer.

The 29-year-old's long experience of English football has seen him retain his place in the Nigeria squad.

"It is about going out there, having a good time and making something of yourself, so I am looking forward to it," said Shittu. "All the eyes are going to be on you and as a football player you have to be strong enough to handle that."
