Bolton Wanderers defender Jlloyd Samuel is edging closer to a move to Newcastle United.
The Bolton News says the Trotters are close to signing Real Madrid fullback Marcos Alonso, which could also hasten Samuel's departure, with Newcastle United currently mulling over a £500,000 move.
Trotters teammates Andy O'Brien and Danny Shittu are also interesting Toon boss Chris Hughton.
