Bolton defender Knight still getting shopping discount thanks to Fulham

Bolton Wanderers defender Zat Knight still has ties to former club Fulham.

Knight turned down a chance with Benfica to sign for Fulham - and is still reaping one benefit thanks to club owner Mohamed Al Fayed.

Even though he left West London in 2007, he still gets discounted shopping at Harrods when he is back in the capital.

He said: "Mr Al Fayed's a character, I take my hat off to him.

"I still get a good discount at Harrods. But I wouldn't say its free, he's not that generous!"
