Bolton Wanderers plan to go ahead with Saturday's derby against fellow relegation strugglers Blackburn Rovers, but will make a final decision in the next 24 hours. The Trotters' scheduled game against Aston Villa on Tuesday evening was postponed after midfielder Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest during Saturday's FA Cup tie at Tottenham Hotspur.
Rovers boss Steve Kean confirmed on Monday that Rovers would be happy to respect Bolton's wishes if they wanted to delay the match.
However, Bolton are currently intending to play their local rivals and will confirm their decision by Wednesday at the latest.
