Bolton Wanderers have signed West Brom fullback Paul Robinson on an initial loan.

Birminghammail.net says it is similar to the deals which took Tomasz Kuszczak to Manchester United and Curtis Davies to Villa.

Robinson will automatically become a Bolton player at the end of his season-long loan spell, with Albion collecting £2million for the left-back, who was the club's second-longest serving player.
