Bolton Wanderers still have hopes of Gregg Wylde turning out for them before the end of the season.
The Scotland Under-21s international has been left in limbo for six weeks since quitting Rangers at the start of March when the SPL club went into administration.
He rejected overtures from Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Everton to sign a three-year deal at the Reebok, but required ratification from FIFA before being allowed to play, says the Bolton News.
It is understood Wylde should get the go-ahead to resume his career before the weekend and could be in contention for a place in Owen Coyle's squad for the crucial home game against Swansea City.
