Bolton chief Gary Megson was disappointed with Bolton's defending in their 4-2 defeat at Aston Villa. The Trotters had led courtesy of Johan Elmander's close-range effort, but to no avail.
Davies did score at the right end late on to restore some pride for the visitors, but it was not enough to prevent Bolton's defence getting an ear-bashing from their manager.
"The goals that we've conceded right the way through the game are not acceptable at our level," stated Megson.
"We've come away to Villa Park scored two and been beaten so we're a little bit down about that."
