Bolton Wanderers are pushing to sign Cardiff City striker Joe Mason.

Mason is returning to Bolton - to help Dougie Freedman's men save their season.

The month-long emergency loan deal follows Mason's short spell with the Trotters at the tail end of last year, when he made eight appearances in the league.
