Former Manchester City forward Martin Petrov has agreed terms with Bolton and will join the club on July 1. The 31-year-old has now completed the move having been released from Eastlands at the end of last season.
A knee injury prematurely ended his involvement last season and he was subsequently released by Roberto Mancini alongside fellow internationals Benjani Mwaruwari and Sylvinho.
Fellow Barclays Premier League sides Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa were also linked with the Bulgarian international, though Bolton's interest always appeared the most concrete.
