Bolton chief Gartside confident with Coyle at the helm

Bolton chairman Phil Gartside says he is supremely confident of the clubs survival chances with Owen Coyle in the hot seat as manager.

The Trotters are two points away from safety with six matches remaining and Gartside believes that the positive nature of Coyle will come shining through in the players come season's end.

"I've got the easiest job in the world managing Owen Coyle," said Gartside.

"I have implicit trust in him. I can't tell him how to set a team up, how to do training, or set his staff up, I can only be supportive.

"I know what he wants and he knows I'll support him and that's what our relationship is all about.

"People sometimes say he's unreal because he's always positive and has faith, but that's him and that's why I love working with him."
