Liverpool risk missing out on AS Roma goalkeeper Alexandre Doni.
Doni's agent, Ovid Colucci, is in England this week to consider offers from both Liverpool and Bolton Wanderers.
Bolton are understood to be willing to outbid Liverpool for Doni.
Liverpool's contract offer is worth €1 million-a-year, while Bolton are willing to go closer to the €2.2 million salary Doni enjoys at Roma.
Colucci also has hopes of negotiating a release from his Roma contract for Doni this month.
