Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside has warned manager Sammy Lee he wants to see progress in the coming weeks.
Before yesterday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham, Gartside told the Sunday Mirror: "Everyone is under huge pressure because we are bottom. That includes Sammy and me.
"It is the first time in six years we have been bottom and it's not where we want to be.
"It is very difficult to make long-term judgments after a few games. In general I believe the longer a manager is in the job, the more chance of success you have.
"At the same time, we need to show signs of improvement."
