Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside is in the clear after declaring he wants Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp to be given the England job.

The Daily Mail says the FA will not be censuring board member Phil Gartside for breaking ranks with his off-message support for Harry Redknapp as the next England boss in a BBC interview.

It's believed Bolton chairman Gartside was caught off guard as the previous questioning had been on club matters.
