Celtic have been offered the chance to sign Santiago Ezquerro from Champions League opponents Barcelona.

The forward has been frozen out at the Nou Camp and has also been offered to fellow SPL side Hearts and Premiership strugglers Bolton.

He said: "To play for a club in Scotland or England has always been my objective. But during my time at Bilbao and now Barcelona it has never been possible.

"My aim is to get more playing time but that looks unlikely so the only solution is for me to leave."
