Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies admits there's no chance of an England call-up by Fabio Capello.
Trotters boss Owen Coyle believes Davies deserves an England cap.
But the veteran told Absolute Radio: "No. No, not at all. No.
"You know, there's been a few occasions over the years, I think last season I was in a couple of the long squads, but its never materialised for me, so its something that's not really of concern to me these days.
"You know, I look out for squads now to see if you know, obviously Gary Cahill's in there at the minute, and I think one or two of the players might be trying to push in there as well from our squad hopefully."
