Bolton boss wants goals from Diouf

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson has challenged El Hadji Diouf to continue his scoring form until they lose him to the African Nations Cup.

The Senegal striker has weighed in with two goals in the last two games after failing to find the target in the opening months of the Barclays Premier League season.

Diouf now goes into the match against Everton on Boxing Day with confidence renewed after getting the opener in the 3-0 victory against Birmingham at the weekend.

With Nicolas Anelka taking his tally to 11 for the season with a brace, Bolton carry an attacking threat.

Megson said: "There's a lot of onus on Anelka, with the quality he's got, to score goals.

"But now one or two people have started to get on the score sheet on a more regular basis.

"That was Diouf's second goal in a week and he needs to start scoring more goals."
