Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson refuses to take credit for the progress this season of Arsenal target Gary Cahill.

"It's not about me feeling vindicated," he said. "I'd prefer to look at the player. Gary came here to play more first-team football week-in, week-out and he's got that. He's flourished.

"Managers should bring people in and hope they can move on as an individual, and make the team as a whole better."
