Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is delighted with the progress of Tamir Cohen this season.
Wanderers paid just £37,000 to acquire Cohen's services in the January transfer window of 2008.
"It's taken a while for Tamir but he's starting to emerge," said Megson. "He is getting stronger and getting more used to the pace of the game.
"He has got a cannon for a left foot, an eye for a goal and is good with his head."
Cohen, 25, is the son of former Liverpool defender Avi Cohen and Megson believes it's not been easy to emerge from his dad's shadows.
"I think it is harder having a father who has played at this level before."
