Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson believes Matty Taylor would already be in the England squad if he was with a bigger club.

He said: "That is possible, I find it strange that we are supposedly crying out for a left-sided player who can work hard and can score goals.

"Yet we have one - and he is English. That's seven goals this season. He works his socks off and is a quality player. If he got his opportunity he would not let anyone down."
