Bolton boss Megson shrugs off Siasia talk

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson has shrugged off talk that Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia could replace him at the Reebok stadium.

"I have heard about it but I haven't seen it so I can't really comment on something I haven't seen," he said about the link to Siasia.

"There are a lot more important things. There's only one thing I'm focused on and that's getting the three points that we desperately need this Saturday.

"Whatever else goes on around the edges of it is really of no concern."

Megson, who has been in charge since replacing Sammy Lee at the end of October when Bolton were bottom of the table, feels he in no position to give guarantees about his long-term future.

"You can ask any manager in the country whether he is here for the long haul and he won't be able to tell you," he added.
