Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson hopes skipper Kevin Nolan's return can give his players a much-needed lift.

Megson said: "We've missed Kevin but it has enabled his back to settle down completely.

"He's been playing banged up with that for about a month. It's not just him as a player, it's his leadership and character.

"You have to be a certain type of player so that even when you're not playing well, you have to put those demands on other people. That's what Kevin certainly is for us."
