Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is seeking more goals from Matt Taylor.

The midfielder struck in their 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.

"I'm really pleased for Matt," said the Bolton manager. "He's had his critics but he's got that quality and that will do him the world of good.

"His ratio of games to goals hasn't been as good as it was last year. But he's got that in his armoury and is capable of doing that.

"He's been getting a little bit of criticism but he's still got the bravery to take that and it was a fantastic strike.

"He bases his game around getting goals and that will hopefully kick-start his season."
