Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson has hinted he is struggling to keep Nicolas Anelka ahead of the winter market opening.

"We are talking about something that is hypothetical, but it may become apparent and then we will deal with it," Megson, the Bolton manager, said. "Nobody at Bolton wants Nicolas to go anywhere and hopefully Nic would fall into that category as well."
