Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is looking to new signing Grzegorz Rasiak to ease the workload on Kevin Davies.
"What Kevin can do without is people focussing on him playing in Nicolas Anelka's position. It is bit unfair.
"There are things Kevin does better than Nic. What he doesn't do is put the ball in the net as regularly as he did.
"But there are not many like Nic. That is why he commands such a high fee."
Megson believes Rasiak fits the bill in what is needed between now and May.
"He is a big, powerful centre-forward who knows where the back of the net is," said the Bolton boss.
"He will bring more firepower to the squad and allow us extra attacking options."
