Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson says he's not immune to the constant criticism he has suffered.
Megson's arrival at Bolton was greeted by derision and, despite keeping the club in the Premier League for the past two seasons, the abuse has become so regular even rival fans join in.
"It's not that I've got a thick skin," said Megson, "It's just that I stop reading the papers when I get to the sports pages and don't watch TV or listen to the radio!
"But I'm on the touchline when some of that stuff happens and you just have to get used to it and cope with it.
"We tanked West Ham the other night and yet their crowd were fantastic with their players and staff.
"It's got to the point where it's bigger news to people outside the locale. It was no surprise when the Blackburn supporters started the chants a few weeks ago. The same happened with Wolves.
"But I accept everybody is judged on results and we've got to pick them up like everybody else."
