Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is fed-up with critics of Kevin Davies' disciplinary record.
Megson said: "It really winds me up when people go on about Kevin Davies having a bad disciplinary record.
"I remember Hull were saying some things about Kevin that I wasn't happy with.
"What people don't realise is that he gets fouled more than anyone else while he's had one red card in eight years and four yellows last season.
"He was the most fouled player last season yet had something like the 66th worst disciplinary record. That means there are 65 Premier League players out there with a worse record than Kevin's - yet all I hear is how dirty he is.
"I'm sure he'll be keen to do well against Hull after everything that went on."
