Bolton boss Megson hails Portsmouth keeper James

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson had nothing but praise for Portsmouth goalkeeper David James after Saturday's defeat.

He said: "I think you can explain the defeat in two words - David James. I have not seen us play any better. I have certainly not seen us create as many chances. We looked solid throughout before they scored. They had one shot from 20 yards, which Jussi Jaaskelainen saved.

"Aside from that, it has been one-way traffic in terms of chances created, territorially and possession-wise.

"I would swap with Harry Redknapp obviously but today I think the only reason we have not won the game is down to one of the best goalkeeping performances that I have seen."
