Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson admits he's grateful to Derby rival Paul Jewell for his support while he was out of work.

Megson said: "On a couple of occasions, because Paul was flavour of the month after leaving Wigan, he recommended me for jobs that he wasn't interested in.

"But that will not influence me at all. We both need points at the moment."
