Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is upset with the boo-boys at the Reebok.

During victory over Portsmouth, boos were heard as Ricardo Gardner was hauled off eight minutes from time for Fabrice Muamba after a man-of-the-match performance.

But Megson claims that the switch was not a tactical one, and expressed his frustration at the fans' response.

"I was disappointed with the crowd's reaction after taking Ricardo off," he said after the game. "Stevie Wonder could have seen that he was tiring.

"Even though it is directed at me, it is not nice, especially for Fabrice who was about to go on to the pitch."
